Ski in Nagano, Japan

There are more and more tourists in Japanese mountains in winter.
 

They enjoy skiing or snow boarding in "powder snow".
 

(You have to check if there is enough snow before you leave, though.)
 

They say in Shiga Kogen, Nagano prefecture, there is enough snow every year and it isn't too far from Tokyo.
 

Of course you can also leave for Tohoku or Hokkaido.
